This page was made because i am sitting around home in pain from having my wisdom teeth removed and nothing to do :)

Anyway back onto the subject, over the next couple of years i plan to modify my car and i thought it would be fun to keep an online archive so everyone can see the progress as it goes.

Starting off it is a 2000 Mitsubishi GLi Lancer CE Sedan

Well its been a long time since my last update and as i promised back then not much would happen from March till around June, August is close enough :)

Was down as a Mitsubishi dealer with a few friends to pick up one of their cars and i was just looking at the big Mitsubishi badge on the new model Magna and decided i could fit one of them onto my car - 20 minutes and $40 later i had decided on what badge size to get .

It wasn't long after i decided my speakers really did suck some major arse so i replaced them with some MTX speakers and a JBL amp. The way my Pioneer tuner is going it wont be long till that needs replacing either - don't think its outdated just its slowly getting worse and worse and is starting to have trouble powering up lol.

The front 6" MTX speakers were placed under the original door covering where the old speakers were so you can't see any difference. The rear speakers use to be 6" instead of 6x9's and i didn't have the extra $350 for a custom parcel shelf so instead i had them make up the raised boxes and get them carpeted.

NOTE: Parcel shelf is the area between the boot and inside of car where rear speakers sit, just under the back window.

Here is a long and close shot without then with the Mitsubishi badge added.

The old speakers - currently in the process of being converted into computer speakers by my LAZIEST friend - ill post pics in the the year 2008 when he is done, maybe later :)

Well this purchase came unexpectedly, i had some spare cash and wanted to waste it on my car. Don't really want to do any major external modifications for now as people will expect allot from it if it looks good and then laugh when it goes crap :)

First under-the-hood upgrade will be a Cold air intake with uni filter and strut brace (also known as strut bar). For those of you that have no idea what they are i have done a quick photoshop job on two images showing them, there just below this updates images.

Also just a little heads up, no money and no time so no updates for a few months unless i find something small and cheap :)

Here is the engine bay before any modifications were done.

Here the strut brace has been added.

First two images show the hole were the original air intake came in. Next three show the actual cold air intake system and the forth shows the pipe that is connected to the air filter. The last image is a picture of the filter itself. Sorry for crappy photo, about 10 pics were taken from under the car and this was the best one.

Here is the engine bay with both the strut brace and cold air intake in.

just encase you are still unsure what a strut brace and Cold air intake are these pictures clearly show the parts. Left is strut brace and right is cold air intake. If you needed these pictures to help tell them apart you should seek help next time you go to a petrol (gas) station as you clearly shouldn't be in any contact with cars :)

I am sure everyone has to admit it looks better then the stock exhaust that resembles the end of a condom lol. Anyway its just a lot of noise and not much performance and with a car that has 85Kw i could use some performance, anyway that will come later, ill start with under the hood modifications soon enough :)

The car has only been in my possession just over a month now and since it came stock and i am low on cash not much has been done as of yet :(

Basically all that has been done is i ripped out the heap of crap standard Mitsubishi radio console and replaced it was a nice Pioneer 7650 :)

I also wanted to put racing seats in but seeing as they cost $650 each i just grabbed some cheap $120 temporary seat covers :P

The following pictures are about two weeks old and don't feature the new seat covers and since i need to go my friends place whenever i need pictures because my digital camera is a heap of crap it will be a few weeks until they get updated :(
